RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Interaction Designer - Fixtures in Pontiac, MI. In general, this position is responsible for designing fixture and fixture set-ups used in the development and/or validation of propulsion system product development testing. This role should be independent type work. The candidate will have collaboration with the Engineering group, testing lab and technician teams out on the shop/lab.Typical day in the role:- Take work orders
- Interact with engineering group
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Any technical degree would help
- 5-7 years of experience required
- Willing to look at someone with more years of experience and no degree
- MFG & fixture design experience
- Teamcenter
- Understand and be able to create drawings
- MFG: Understanding how parts are made and how they go together
- Mechanically Inclined: Knowing the basics of the drawing, how parts are assembled
- Fixtured design
- Tooling
- Dimensioning
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
