Position Overview

The Integration Engineer is responsible for overseeing and assembling multi-product solutions across Plastics & Composites brands to support Oldcastle Infrastructure's growing business. They will be responsible to coordinate with engineering functions, product management, and operations on product design and manufacturability for new solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish design specifications based on industry and customer standards and expectations.
  • New solution development, including project management and design collaboration with engineering functions, product management, and operations teams across IPG Plastics & Composites brands.
  • Performs, oversees, and directs product design and detailing along with product prototyping and testing of new/proposed solutions.
  • Coordinating internal and third-party testing and prototyping for new solution development.
  • Product design calculations and 3D modeling using finite element analysis (FEA).
  • Developing customer details and drawings for project-specific solutions, including product design calculations.
  • Reviewing accuracy of product designs and drawings completed by drafting team.
  • Providing technical support and expertise for quality standards and certifications.
  • Setting goals and objectives for internal and external customer projects.
  • Attending job sites and customer meetings as needed to provide technical support.
  • Generating goals and expectations to communicate weekly with key customers related to project status and backlog.

Competencies, Education, and Experience

  • Team player with effective interpersonal skills and an open, collaborative style.
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator who can balance external and internal objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or related field.
  • EIT or PE certification preferred.
  • Experience in finite element analysis software tools.
  • Experience in manufactured products for infrastructure construction preferred.
  • Experience with 3D software (Autodesk Inventor knowledge is an asset).
  • Travel is expected to be ~30%
