About the Position

We are currently seeking an experienced instrument and controls engineer to join our growing team in Peachtree Corners, GA. The ideal candidate possesses 5 years of related experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will perform power, chemical, pharmaceutical and process industries design for clients across the United States. The successful candidate will have prior A&E experience and a background in consulting engineering. Projects will span across multiple markets and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to design projects. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter.

Experience and Qualifications

• PE Preferred
• ISA CAP Preferred
• 5 years of related experience
• A&E design experience in a consulting engineering environment required.
• Experience with major technologies and vendors of process instrumentation required.
• Experience with major vendors of PLCs and DCSs required.
• Experience with ISA design standards and symbology required. Candidate must be able to interpret P&IDs without instruction.
• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work.
• Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally.

Additional Information

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Senior Controls Engineer with a salary range of $99,400.00 - $157,600.00 .
