Hybrid General Surgical Pathologist/Hematopathologist

Come live and practice where you vacation! We're currently pursuing an AP/CP surgical pathologist with hematopathology board certification to join our practice.

We're primarily a hospital based practice serving the SCL network of hospitals - including (St Joseph's Hospital, Lutheran Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and Platte Valley Medical Center). The ideal candidate would welcome the challenges of a hospital-based practice and have great communication skills. Everyone in the broader group takes on leadership roles at hospital sites appropriate to their knowledge base (administrative, oversite of laboratory, presentation at multidisciplinary boards) with an even share of on-call duties. Weekend call is approximately 6 times per year.

It's a fantastic place to live and offers easy travel to/from Denver International Airport.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree plus accredited pathology residency

• Board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology & Hematology

• 3 years post residency experience is encouraged

• Ability to visually, audibly, and physically perform job functions

• Valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in CO or eligible to obtain licensure

• Active privileges in facility where inpatient work is interpreted
