Responsibilities

• Investigate and develop new tools and reserving methods
  
• Drive harmonization across divisions (tools/reporting/methods)
  
• Implement efficiencies in the reserving processes
  
• Assist in peer review of reserve studies / challenge assumptions
  
• Co-ordinate approach to inflation across divisions
  
• Co-ordinate development of reserve ranges across divisions
  
• Support Chief Reserving Actuary preparation of US regulatory filings and SAO/AOS and other group-wide studies like CAT and COVID.
  

Skills and Qualifications

• Master's degree in quantitative field of study, or a bachelor's degree in quantitative field of study and a minimum of two years of analytical work experience
  
• Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society
  
• Ability to analyze data using statistical, mathematical and/or data mining methods
  
• Experience with or solid knowledge of machine learning techniques
  
• Basic to intermediate programming skills including the ability to create basic programs using software such as Python, R, SQL
