RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Graphics Designer in Boca Raton, FL. This role is an 8-hour shift, on-site.Summary:The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for print editorial design, typography, and photography. This position is responsible for the design of magazine as well as a variety of graphics as needed for any and all departments and subsidiaries. In this role, you will follow company branding guidelines and timeliness to meet all required deadlines.Core Duties and Responsibilities:- Graphics Designer will assist marketing, television, and financial and health publishers with creative design needs
- Design web pages, landing pages, responsive emails and web-based graphics that satisfy business requirements
- Write programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing website software and graphics to meet business requirements
- Work with web design team to coordinate with other organizational stakeholders in the development of site content and graphics
- Organize content using wireframes or mockups
- Design images, icons, banners
- As a Graphics Designer, you will troubleshoot code and site content for error
- Update existing websites
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in Adobe InDesign: 4 years (Required)
- Experience in Graphic design: 4 years (Preferred)
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite: 4 years (Preferred)
- HTML & CSS experience
- An on-line portfolio showing intuitive and original website designs
- A working knowledge of mobile and responsive design required
- A thorough knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop is required, as is working knowledge of InDesign and other programs in the Creative Suite
- Some familiarity with print/publication design is desired, though not required
- Creativity and imagination
- Adaptable; Able to pick up new techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to code pages from scratch without a dependence on WYSIWYG software
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
