Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Project Coordinator supports assessment and student success efforts including documentation, reporting, coordination of support efforts, and collaborating with campus partners.

This position is open to current, regular Boise State University employees only.

Level Scope:
Fully competent and productive professional contributor who applies acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to complete substantive assignments/projects/tasks of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with general supervision; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees.
Essential Functions:
• Plan, manage, budget, and support the implementation of programs and activities including faculty development workshops, and consultation offerings.
• Coordinate assessment documentation and reporting for faculty and student support activities.
• Provide campus-wide technical support and assistance for development and maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement a communication plan (to internal and external audiences) including marketing materials, social media, and reports related to program initiatives.
• Conduct research and summarize data to inform decision making, evaluate program effectiveness or alternatives, and to inform program development.
• Maintain and update website with timely information, point of contact for upgrades and web compliance.
• Organize and coordinate student events related to recruitment activities, retention events, workshops, and networking events for students and professionals.
• Act as the first point of contact for all academic advising questions connecting students with appropriate resources, faculty, or staff.
• Oversee the financial performance of the program, manage financial resources, and consult with program administrators and the College Business Office as appropriate.
• Work with affiliated faculty and administrators, to ensure necessary courses are offered and course scheduling conflicts are minimal.
• Provide information and consultation to faculty regarding programmatic and policy issues.
• Participate in the development of policies and/or practices to support graduate student success.
• Coordinate communications to prospective and current graduate students regarding programmatic issues.
• Coordinate admissions for the program, including answering all applicant questions, managing and pre-screen application materials, and coordinating faculty and co-director review of applications.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1 year of professional experience in an academic department.
• 1 year of experience with course scheduling.
• 1 year of experience with Boise State human resources and financial systems and processes.
• 1 year of experience working with College of Education programs, faculty, staff, and business processes.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary range of $47,195-$58,989/yr; commensurate with experience.
