Financial Analyst Specialist - Hybrid

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A client with Kforce is seeking a Financial Analyst Specialist to join their team. This is a hybrid role in Jacksonville, FL with 1-2 days a week onsite and the rest remote. They will consider candidates outside of Jacksonville as the Manager is flexible. This position is supporting CTO FP&A Support, TSA management and exit analysis.Key Tasks:
  • Financial Analyst Specialist develops, interprets, and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control
  • Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance
  • Gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts
  • Meets with organizational unit/department managers to discuss and establish timelines and methodologies for completing budgets
  • Research and compiles data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget projections for a division or similar group of organizations
  • Tracks revenue and expenses on a monthly basis, comparing actual to forecasted figures and makes necessary adjustments
  • Performs economic research and studies in areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements
  • As a Financial Analyst Specialist, you will prepare reports for management summarizing results of research, analyses, and evaluation of any discrepancies
  • Gathers and analyzes current data to aid in estimating future expenditures
  • Participates as a senior member of the team in strategic planning and direction
  • Develops, documents, and implements standards, guidelines, direction, and Education on process/procedures for staff
  • Expected to be primary mentor for others on staff and is a role model for rest of team providing direction and training when requested; Effectively communicates with all levels of personnel
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or the equivalent combination of Education, training, and work experience
  • Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures and standards
  • Fundamental accounting knowledge
  • Ability to do P&L technical analysis
  • Hyperion, Oracle, or other large ERP system experience
  • Excel, Supply chain
  • Expert professional role requiring extensive knowledge of the business
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met
  • Analytical and statistical examination skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
  • Ability to translate financial info to non-finance counterparts
  • Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools
  • Ability to understand and apply learned concepts
  • Ability to create spreadsheets and demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients and public
  • Ability to work independently with only administrative supervision on highly complex projects with extensive latitude for independent judgment
  • Ability to provide communication on issues or complex information to a wide audience based on knowledge


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
