The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

What will you do?

  • To assist in analysis of New Vehicle inventory for the retail dealerships.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the New Vehicle Industry / Market (e.g.; market performance, opportunities and projections).
  • Understand allocation schedules and methods of the various OEMs to allow dealerships to keep inventory at desired levels.
  • Track vehicle pipelines and use to forecast days supply calculations based on budgeted sales
  • Continuously analyze the dealership inventory levels and sales performance; and the identification of opportunities / gaps.
  • Develop effective competitive set analysis to keep dealerships aware of market activity and trends with off brand OEMs.
  • Consistent communication and collaboration with Store Management teams.
  • Perform relevant market / performance analytics - e.g., to inform and influence strategy or key business decisions.
  • Provide analytical support, thought partnership, and / or project management structure.
  • Provide high level reports to keep executive management aware of the overall health of the new vehicle inventory, both present and future.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Adobe or Nitro, SharePoint etc.)
  • Breadth and depth of expertise in a technical or functional area; knowledge of work processes and tools is generally limited to own area of responsibility or department
  • Collecting and analyzing raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and other helpful information.
  • Reviewing and improving analytics processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security
  • Strong math, organization, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • Proactive, organized approach to multitasking and prioritization
  • Effectively manages time and consistently meets deadlines with some guidance from manager
  • Ability to recognize patterns and trends in large data sets and use numerical information to develop business strategies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong research and presentation skills

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $56,400.00 - $81,775.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
