Our client, a non-profit national association, is seeking a temporary Event Coordinator to support the Director of Meetings and Events as the association prepares for their annual program meeting in California (11/10-11/13)!

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 4+ years' related work experience.
  • Strong background in customer service, event/conference planning, membership, and/or sponsorship.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in building relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The Job:

  • Support the Director of Meetings and Events as they prepare for their annual program meeting (11/10-11/13) in California.
  • Complete any administrative tasks laid out by Director and support both administrative duties and other event planning tasks.
  • Provide customer service to the sponsors and keep the sponsors on track.
  • Help plan for the event by liaising with org, members, and sponsors.

This is a temporary opportunity that pays $20/hr-$25/hr. This individual is needed through 11/12/2022 (with the potential to extend). If you are interested in furthering your career, apply today with your MS Word resume!
