We are currently seeking an experienced estimator to join our team as a full-time Estimator for Multi-Family. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with multi-family construction projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in the construction industry, specifically in multi-family projects.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and estimate costs
- Analyze and interpret construction data, such as blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor and material costs
- Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing information and ensure accuracy of estimates
- Ensure that all estimates are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that all estimates align with project goals and timelines
- Continuously monitor and analyze market trends to ensure that cost estimates remain competitive
- Attend project meetings as necessary to review estimates and provide updates to project teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for multi-family construction projects
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction estimating software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
