Job Description Summary

Our Machine Operators are responsible for performing set-ups, operating machinery, identifying acceptable or unacceptable product quality according to customer requirements. We are seeking a highly motivated, career focused Machine Operators that are going to be dedicated, hardworking, and passionate about getting things done. Job Description

  • Read and comprehend production SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Set up equipment and ensure production materials are available.
  • Operate the machines and observe them during production. If problems are detected, stop the process and make minor corrections or refer major problems to production leadership and/or maintenance.
  • Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors and managers to achieve productivity and location goals.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

To perform this position successfully the individual must be able to perform the essential job functions and pass all the training evaluations for the position, thereby demonstrating knowledge, skill and ability to perform the job tasks.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Applicant must possess high school diploma or GED and or one to three months related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Have the ability to satisfactorily pass all training evaluations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents, procedure and safety manuals as well as demonstrate comprehension of such in English. Have the ability to communicate with supervisors and peers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to understand and carryout instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to analyze problems involving variables in all situations affecting the process and position.
