Description:
As the Enterprise Architect, you will be pivotal in ensuring that our technology strategy is fully aligned with our mission and operational goals. Your role will involve creating a robust architectural framework that emphasizes security, resilience, availability, and adaptability. You will be responsible for the comprehensive design of application technology stacks, which are crucial for managing and mitigating risks, thereby driving superior outcomes and enhancing our architectural stance.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the current architectural state and develop a future state vision with a clear roadmap to support operational and technological objectives.
• Aim to reduce technical debt and minimize the technology footprint.
• Advance the application of architectural models, patterns, reference architectures, and guidelines to construct consistent and standardized solutions.
• Collaborate with multiple vendors to develop and implement software and architectural solutions, ensuring alignment with budgetary and timeline constraints.
• Establish and enforce architecture governance processes to guide and influence the organization's direction.
• Provide expert leadership in design and execution, ensuring compliance with both functional and non-functional requirements, in line with the strategic vision and roadmap.
• Supervise all architectural changes to ensure adherence to standards and alignment with established guidelines and blueprints.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years leading software development teams with a strong grasp of agile methodologies, financial, resource, and demand management.
• At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale, complex projects with interdependencies.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with SOAP/REST Web Services.
• Public sector experience, particularly in Human Services and Benefits Management, is advantageous.
• Candidates with experience in modernizing systems using the Mulesoft platform are preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience in leading and developing global, distributed, remote, Mainframe, Distributed, and Cloud technology teams with a focus on high availability and reliability.
• Extensive knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, technical process engineering, and project management.
• Familiarity with IT/software technology trends, infrastructure support, application development, cloud-based development, web services, middleware, operating systems, databases, networking, and security.
