About the Position

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Peachtree Corners, GA. The ideal candidate possesses 0-2 years of related experience (internship, co-op and professional experience included) and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will contribute to the design of power systems for power, chemical, pharmaceutical and other process industries facilities while working collaboratively under the mentorship of seasoned engineering professionals. Design projects will span across multiple markets and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to building systems design. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter and can move quickly and efficiently through a variety of design stages ranging from concept plans to construction documentation.

Experience and Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
• EIT certification preferred or anticipated.
• 0-2 years of related design experience in an A&E consulting engineering firm (including internship, co-op or professional experience) preferred.
• Experience with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD and BIM preferred. (SKM and/or ETAP experience is a plus)
• Ability to design, control, and implement electrical systems and products; create "redline sketches" for designers and engineers; assist in preparing necessary documentation for project needs; perform accurate and legible design calculations; and assist in establishing project timelines and task assignments
• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
• Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally

Additional Information

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Electrical Engineer I with a salary range of $57,900.00 - $85,000.00 .
