RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking an Eggplant Tester - Automation.Summary:The CDH Quality and Standards team focuses on establishing a robust QA program with defined testing standards and emphasis on continual improvement efforts related to IT testing processes. Our team consists of one Manager of IT QA and Testing, one Senior IT QA Analyst and two Senior System Testing Coordinators who work directly with the CDH teams to provide QA standards and guidance, test strategy/planning, and test management support for various functional tests: including end-to-end and acceptance testing, ensuring IT systems and applications perform, as expected. These functions aim to ensure that software is delivered with the highest possible quality while meeting specified requirements and expectations. We are expanding our capabilities and looking for a highly skilled test service to manage automation testing for designated projects while contributing knowledge for framework development.Responsibilities:- Augment the CDH Quality and Standards team with a test automation managed service to plan, develop, execute, troubleshoot failed testing scripts, and report results/metrics using the Eggplant test automation tool and any additional tools, as necessary (i.e. Jira, test management suite, etc.)
- Mature the QA Program by implementing an effective test automation approach to gain efficiencies with improving manual testing times and coverage
- Implement functional/non-functional test automation strategies for assigned clinical and/or non-clinical related projects within an Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid environment
- CDH Quality and Standards team acquire the necessary knowledge for developing a Test Automation Framework consisting of standards and best practices to guide with designing, implementing, maintaining automated testing processes and utilizing appropriate tools
REQUIREMENTS:
- Automation testing tools: Eggplant experience
- API testing tools: Postman web API testing experience (considered for later phases)
- Test management tools experience; TBD for FY25
- Defect tracking and task creation tools: ServiceNow, JIRA experience
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team consisting of software developers, QA analysts, test coordinators, business analysts, stakeholders, end-users, etc. to identify automatable test cases/ scripts and develop effective solutions across the software development process
- Write, design and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically
- Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system
- Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios
- Analyze and maintain test cases/scripts and scenarios regularly to ensure consistency with business workflows/system functionality and report results
- Log and document bugs/defects in the tracking system
- Perform exploratory testing when necessary to understand how functionality impacts the end-user
- Write documentation for automated processes, including test plans, test procedures and test cases/ scripts
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks based on scripting needs
- Utilizing Eggplant and any additional testing tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
