Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tyson. This role involves diagnosing issues, adjusting, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on diesel engine trucks and trailers while ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and adhering to Tyson's policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will help maintain a safe work environment while exhibiting a strong commitment to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve issues with diesel engine trucks and trailers
Perform adjustments, repairs, and routine maintenance tasks
Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation regulations
Uphold Tyson's policies and safety procedures
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of industrial maintenance experience
Preferably possess an industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school (education can substitute for experience)
Familiarity with diesel engine trucks and trailers maintenance and repair
**Retention Bonus Available**
$4,000 retention bonus paid out in $1,000 increments at 1 week, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year.
