Job Description

We are looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to assist with a PC deployment project through June 30, 2024. This position will be full-time contract and onsite.

What You'll Do

  • Performs preliminary troubleshooting and technical assistance for hardware and associated software
  • Resolves customer issues where applicable and within position skill set
  • Escalates customer issue appropriately
  • Maintains professional and friendly demeanor in all interactions with customer base and internal/external teams
  • Unpacking, staging desktop and laptop hardware to prepare for deployment to agency
  • Imaging and installation of software onto devices

What You'll Need

Required:
  • Previous experience provisioning and deploying desktops, laptops, and peripherals
  • Experience troubleshooting basic desktop/laptop hardware/software issues
  • Experience provisioning equipment with MS SCCM

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
