Job Summary
The Data Analyst - MDM will lead and manage the technical data standards, policies, and tools for the assigned sub-domain in order that required item data quality levels are met and maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages data governance and ensures data integrity by leading data management efforts across the organization.
  • Recommending initiatives for improving data management processes.
  • Creates, implements, and maintains master data management solutions that enable users to optimize system capabilities.
  • Uses knowledge of end-to-end data processes to analyze, cleanse, and enrich master data elements, and ensure that data flows efficiently and consistently between users and stakeholders.
  • Provides data governance and ensures data integrity by coordinating data management efforts across the organization. Troubleshoots issues related to master data management and identifies opportunities for improving data management processes.
  • Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
  • Maintains a high-level understanding of the data related business processes to manage the data tools used in item domain.
  • Understands the applications upstream and downstream from the item and how processes are impacted by the data.
  • Serves as the data custodian accountable for configuration management, technical standards, and data control.
  • Ensures the accuracy of item master data integrations.
  • Understands the integration of items and can provide trouble shooting assistance.
  • Provides support for business teams by educating and communication standardization and practices that drive data quality.
  • Coordinates the testing efforts of item master data management initiatives.
  • Owns the resolution of technical data issues and liaise with key stakeholders to prioritize the objectives.
  • Understands the master data requirements for projects involving master item data across the enterprise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Process Management or related degree or experience
  • At least 4 years of combined experience in reporting, data management, process improvement with significant experience working with item master data management platforms and integrations.
  • Business Knowledge: Demonstrates strong knowledge of current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information related to the business and the organization.
  • Communication: Demonstrates excellent listening and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Initiative: Works independently and is highly motivated to initiate and accept new challenges
  • Judgment/Decision Making: Makes solid decisions based on a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment.
