Job Description

• Uses CRM database to process sales orders, send order confirmations, update orders for billing

• Answers incoming calls and emails regarding purchase orders, billing / payment, pricing, product availability, and other general inquiries from customers, sales representatives and technicians.

• Works within distributor online portals to retrieve and confirm purchase orders

• Responsible for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests

• Responsible for processing payments; such as customer credit cards

• Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism while working to establish a positive rapport with customers, sales representatives, technicians and office colleagues

• Supports other department requirements for Customer Care related support

This is a salaried position.

The position is located at ELGA LabWater North America headquarters in the Chicagoland area (currently Woodridge Illinois). After a successful onboarding and training period, the role will be hybrid, as per Company's policy. 3 days in office 2 days at home)

Qualifications

​​​​​​ *Associates degree preferred (not required)

• 3+ years of experience in B2B or Retail customer support role, ideally in manufacturing / distributor setting (not required)

• The ability to work under pressure and maintain high attention to detail

• Excellent computer skills, primarily with Google Suite

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities

• The ability to work in a team environment; a friendly and cooperative/positive attitude is required

• Must be honest, assertive and systematic

We also value the following qualifications:

• Uses patience and courtesy while resolving customer complaints and conflict

• Respects and follows all ISO certified standard operating procedures; experience is a plus

• Problem resolution and critical thinking skills

• Minimal travel may be required
