CT / Radiologic Technologist
Position Type:
Full-time, direct hire
Hours: Monday-Friday, working between the hours of 6:00 am-5:00 pm, no weekends or on-call, occasional overtime offered.
Location: Syracuse, New York

As a CT/Radiologic Technologist you will:

  • Perform CT and exams according to office policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Explain procedures to patients, and positions patients to obtain the required images.
  • Operate equipment using established guidelines, policy and procedure manuals, office protocols, technique charts, and N.Y.S. regulations.
  • Review images taken for proper quality; correct labeling of images and verifying correct patient demographics.
  • Minimizes exposure to patients using lead shielding and appropriate techniques.
  • Performs CT scans to maintain proficiency.
  • Cleans and maintains the supplies in radiology rooms.
  • Performs QA testing under the guidance of the Administrator.
  • Coordinates patient flow and scheduling.
  • Assist with inspections by the NYS Department of Health and DNV inspections.
  • Responsible for CT QA and maintaining ACR accreditation.
  • Uses EPIC and PACS systems for patient care and imaging.
A qualified candidate will have:
  • N.Y.S. license in diagnostic radiology
  • ARRT (CT) (R)
  • Associate's Degree or higher level of education in medical radiography or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have certification to inject per the requirements of Section 89.40 of Part 89 of the NYS Department of Health.
  • Current CPR certification.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $30.00 - $47.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Benefits: Health, dental and vision insurance, eligibility for employer 401k funding after 1 year (3% quarterly/5% annual on vesting schedule), and generous paid time off, including vacation and personal time, paid sick leave, holidays and floating holidays. M-F 6:00 am -5:00 pm, rotating schedule, no weekends or call, occasional overtime.
