Job Description:

Material Handling Systems, Inc. is seeking multiple Controls Engineer IIs to write and implement PLC code, integrate subsystems, and assist in all on-site in commissioning efforts. Utilize commercially available products such as Wonderware, RSView, Factory Talk View, and Ignition to create "Human Machine Interact" (HMI) applications. Implement PLC and HMI programs to satisfy current design and customer specifications under the supervision of Sr. Level Controls Engineers. Work with other company employees, customer representatives and third-party vendors to ensure all aspects of a project are considered during both the design and commissioning phases. Review electrical designs and provide accurate as-builts drawings for approval. Individually or as a team member, commission complex automated systems, provide site engineering support and complete system acceptance testing. Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Contribute to completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

Job Requirements:

Employer requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or the foreign degree equivalent, and 6 months of relevant job experience. Work or academic experience must have included: PLC Programming, including Rslogix, RSLadder, or Studio 5000; HMI Programming, including Rsview, or Factory Talk View; input and output device design implementation; working with industrial communication networks including EtherNet/IP, Devicenet, or Profinet; low voltage electrical design and drawing creation; and utilizing CAD software to create electrical drawings and schematics (Autocad).

Job Location:

3100 Medlock Bridge Rd., Ste. 270, Peachtree Corners, GA 30071. May travel to client sites as needed. Work at various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
