Key Responsibilities:

This Oxnard based position, with oversight for two facilities in Oxnard, CA, contributes to the success of the plant by supporting the operations team to meet customer needs and achieve standards related to cost, line efficiencies, waste, safety, and productivity. This individual is responsible for executing continuous improvement projects for the facilities.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Execute continuous improvement activities for cross functional teams, including but
    not limited to Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Fermentation personnel.
  • Identify gaps in performance, investigate root cause effectively and efficiently, and
    implement counter measures to eliminate recurrence, supporting improvement of
    True Efficiency (TE) and Running Efficiency (RE) to deliver annual operating targets for plan.
  • Serve as a training resource and coach for team members and team leaders.
  • Ensure cost performance gaps are identified, action plans are developed, and
    resources are properly allocated.
  • Deliver effective change leadership - driving business changes while minimizing people impact.
  • Execute Lean Six Sigma projects.
  • Develop an understanding of equipment and machinery operations to serve as a
    resource
  • Support plant productivity and sustainability efforts
  • Champion and lead an effective safety culture. Coach for safe behaviors and
    compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

Professional Experience / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Science, Engineering, or Maintenance Technologies,
    and project/internship experience for continuous improvement in a manufacturing
    setting.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement principals and methodologies in a
    manufacturing environment is required.
  • In lieu of bachelor's degree, 2+ years of comparable work experience in a high-speed
    Manufacturing environment is acceptable.
  • Must have a basic understanding of financial reporting and budgeting, including, but
    not limited to waste, yields, and True Efficiency as well as Run Strategy and all
    conversation and deployment KPI's.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, conflict management and problem-solving skills
  • SAP/CMMS, Minitab or related skills are a plus.
  • Ability to flex schedule to accommodate production needs, rotate shifts and work weekends and holidays when required.
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

The salary range for this position is $61,000-$95,000 annually.
