BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Collateral Service Specialist for an opportunity in Ft. Worth, TX!

Position Title: Collateral Service Specialist

Location: Ft. Worth, TX 76155

Anticipated Start Date: Immediately

Expected Duration: 4 months (Potential to extend or convert FTE)

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description: -

Responsibilities -

• Log in the receipt of, perform audit, manage inventory and process shipment of collateral files for loans funded on our warehouse lines by our customers
• Researching and responding to Loan Status Requests, Verification of Mortgages and other requests from outside companies and departments.
• Update for clients on clients' systems the status of each collateral file, and maintain related records
• Prepare or assist in preparing any necessary documents
• Coordinate the receipt and transfer of assets with various internal and external parties
• Responding to standard inquiries from bankers or external customers about loans

Qualifications & Skills:

• 1 to 3 years related experience preferred
• Knowledge of mortgage collateral
• Knowledge of collateral tracking systems
• Knowledge of operational/administrative functions/techniques associated with loan data research, input and document interpretation
