A role you will love

The Client Service Administrator is responsible for coordinating client events such as annual meetings, dividend payments, tax reporting and informational mailings by interfacing with the client, the relationship management team, and operational units. The Client Service Administrator is also responsible for fulfilling client requests for reporting and for preparing other statistics pertaining to the client's shareholder base. The Client Service Administrator initiates requests for service and tracks client service request to ensure that the expectations of the client are met. The Client Service Administrator may also be responsible for the introducing additional service offerings and leveraging opportunities for increased revenue and profitability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Prepares and issues requests for service to various operating units based on clients' requests.
  • Ensures timely receipt, from the appropriate sources, of information, raw material and other inputs needed to successfully execute clients' services.
  • Maintains functional knowledge of Computershare's processes, systems and products.
  • Ensures effective generation and delivery of client reports.
  • Resolves client issues and conducts research by working directly with other functional units.
  • Intercedes and resolves client inquires quickly and accurately.
  • Works either independently or with the Relationship Manager to ensure proper follow-through on clients' requests.
  • Ensures timely funding of services (i.e., dividends and advance postage)
  • Serves as a mentor, coach, and teammate for other Client Service Administrators within the team.
  • Assists clients with special projects, expediting transactions, troubleshooting, problem solving, and servicing of all clients' shareholder accounts.
  • In concert with the Relationship Managers, strives toward meeting annual revenue targets.

What will you bring to the role

The ideal candidate for the Client Service Administrator role can prepare and issues service instructions to various operating units based on clients' requests. Ensures timely receipt, from the appropriate sources of information, raw material, and other inputs needed to successfully execute clients' service needs. The individual must also maintain functional knowledge of Computershare's processes, systems, and products.

Other key skills and experience required:
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ensures effective delivery of clients' MIS reports.
  • Resolves client issues and conducts research by working directly with other functional units
  • Intercedes and resolves client or shareholder inquires quickly and accurately Works either independently or with the Relationship Manager to ensure proper follow-through on clients' requests.
  • Ensures timely funding of services (i.e., dividends and advance postage) and performs reconcilement activities.
  • MS Office and the ability to learn SCRIP, Cosmos, RADAR, Issuer Online, Investor Center, and various other internal applications.
  • Serves as a mentor, coach, and teammate for other Client Service Administrators within the team.
  • Assists clients with special projects, expediting transactions, troubleshooting, problem solving, and servicing of all clients' shareholder accounts.
  • In concert with the Relationship Managers, strives toward meeting annual revenue targets Attends client annual meetings, closings, and account planning sessions with Relationship Managers as required.
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Compensation. The salary for this role is $60,000/yearly. This salary is specific to these locations: Canton MA, Edison NJ and Jersey City NJ and may not be applicable to other locations.
