Job Summary

Certified Medical Assistant/Outpatient Service Coordinator

  • The CMA/OSC handles full range of front desk/end functions (registration, answering all inbound calls, insurance verification, faxing, scanning, confirmation calls, tasks and medical record request, etc). along with the responsibility of the CMA (obtaining vital signs, weight, height, blood pressure, pre-screenings, and other essential duties in the practice).
  • Maintain clinical support, manage patient flow, safe and timely delivery of care, as well as overall quality of patient care.

Qualifications

Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program
Certification:
  • Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required upon hire or within 1 month with onsite training and certification.
Experience
  • Relevant Experience

Preferred Skills
