We're on the lookout for a driven individual to fill the role of Personal Injury Case Manager. In this pivotal position, you'll oversee the progression of personal injury cases, ensuring our clients receive top-notch representation. The perfect fit will possess stellar organizational prowess, impeccable communication skills, and an eye for detail. This role demands on-site presence.

Responsibilities:

- Keep clients and external counsel updated on case developments
- Prepare legal documents for attorney review
- Liaise with team members, attorneys, and external parties to manage our firm's case load, presenting case summaries and ensuring deadlines are met
- Aid attorneys with various case management tasks, such as docketing deadlines, billing, and providing timely reminders
- Review legal documents for compliance with legal standards
- Maintain meticulous case files, adhering to firm policies, both electronically and in hard copy
- Initiate claims with insurance companies and manage health insurance liens
- Handle property damage claims
- Gather and organize pertinent documentation, including medical records, police reports, and witness statements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree preferred; alternatively, a 2-year degree with Paralegal certification or a high school diploma
- Self-motivated with proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents
- Previous experience in case management, ideally in personal injury or related roles such as legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal
- Minimum 3 years of personal injury case management experience
- Highly motivated and professional demeanor
- Quick learner with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
- Bilingual in Spanish

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8-hour shifts
- Day shifts, with potential for evening or weekend work as needed

Experience:

- Personal Injury Law: 2 years (Required)
- Case Management: 2 years (Required)

Language: Bi-Lingual Spanish (Preferred)

Work Location: In person / Newport Beach, CA
