As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be working with the most diverse datasets at NPD. Using the latest BI Tools & Data Visualization technologies coupled with your analytical skills, you will bring to light the most interesting and influential opportunities for our retail clients.

The Center of Excellence team within NPD's Retail Business Group has an exciting opportunity for a person with both an eye for data visualization and skills using BI Tools. Experience using products like Tableau, Power BI, Python, React, MicroStrategy or others is desired. While gathering business requirements from internal and external clients, the best candidate will enjoy using BI tools to shape data into interesting stories. While designing and building client solutions, the candidate must have the capability to understand and strive for reporting excellence, construct pragmatic solutions and learn / leverage BI functionality to improve our client's analytical experience. They must have a willingness to partner with key stakeholders to understand client needs, share constructive ideas, meet project deadlines, and offer proactive updates. Common Visual Solutions will include reporting in Excel, PowerPoint, BI Dashboards, Story Boards, Info Graphics and more.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Gathering requirements, designing, developing, and testing client reports
• Pulling and manipulating data for optimal use in reports
• Offering smart design recommendations
• Follow analytical data best practices
• Working in a highly collaborative environment with minimal supervision.
• Managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Finding solutions to problems and demonstrating the abilities to set and meet reasonable deadlines.
• Manage processes for generating data-intensive reports for both internal and external clients on time and according to standards.
• Respond to internal inquiries and begin to make recommendations for presentations and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Strong math background or degree.
• Demonstrate excellence or experience with Business Intellegence tools like DecisionKey, Microsoft Office 365, Tableau, and more.
• Proficiency with ETL processes, data preparation, data blending and more.
• Experience with Consumer data is a plus
• Ability to work in an agile work environment.
