Location:

Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection, with the minimum in-office commitment being 1-3 days in an office per week.

Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.

Responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• May specialize in one area of organization effectiveness (planning, project portfolio, or culture/change) or be assigned to directly support a business unit and ensures activities are aligned with corporate strategy.
  
• Identifies potential issues, project change, and scope data. Leads efforts to identify best practices.
  
• Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
  
• Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
  
• Designs methods for integrating functions and processes.
  
• Conducts cost/benefit analyses.
  
• Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.
  
• Provides process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support to both local and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  
• Leads the project prioritization and scheduling activities for the business unit.
  
• Provides expertise to the business areas in culture/change management activities.
  
• Provides expertise in process planning and portfolio management activities.
  
• Supports the execution of the operating plan.
  

Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 10 years managing mid to large-scale change/project initiatives; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experience:

• Knowledge of planning models and methodology, project management and change management experience (strategic and execution) strongly preferred.
  
• Master's degree preferred.
  
• Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
  
• PMP Certification preferred.
  
• Proven proficiency in guiding, directing, and developing teams, inclusive of performance evaluations and fostering a team-oriented environment.
  
• Extensive experience in devising and implementing standardized processes and procedures to enhance team productivity and efficiency is strongly preferred.
  
• Demonstrated ability in fostering and maintaining positive rapport with a diverse range of business stakeholders, internal and external.
  
• A strong record in formulating and executing strategic plans that align with enterprise goals and directives is essential.
  
• Strong aptitude for identifying, scrutinizing, and resolving complex business challenges, and making influential decisions that affect business units.
  
• Excellent command over verbal and written communication with an ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences in an understandable and engaging manner.
  
• Prior exposure to and understanding of your specific industry sector would provide an edge, enabling quicker understanding and response to potential business challenges.
