Job Summary

The authorization specialist is responsible for obtaining authorizations, managing incoming/outgoing referrals, and maintaining appropriate standards throughout the authorization/referral process. Duties include monitoring Authorization/Referral work queues, verifying and understanding payor guidelines for authorization/referral policies. Other duties may also include coordination of care with payors and referring providers/entities, and scheduling patients from referral records.

Monday- Friday with available hours between 8:30am-5pm No weekend, No holidays are required

Prefer Previous Authorization and Insurance experience
