Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily Renovation Construction

This position will cover our properties undergoing renovation located within the Nashville, TN and other South Eastern regions. Our construction department that is responsible for the renovation division is looking for and Assistant Project Manager to assist with this and other regions.

Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Assistant Project Manager or 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily renovation.

Education/Certificates:

  • College Degree or equivalent relevant experience in construction project management

Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-family and/or renovation/construction

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and MS Project
  • Ability to work with and coordinate contractors, property teams, and various internal and external renovation scopes of work

Essential Duties:
  • Assist the Project Manager/Senior Project Manager in daily coordination of trades, property teams, and overall project schedule.
  • Quality Control of on going projects.
  • Assist with due diligence and investigative testing of new properties for purchase
  • Assist with budgets, reporting, and related.
  • Assist with contractor scopes of work for bidding and the overall bid process.
  • Assist with contract negotiations, commitments, and executing of commitments.
  • Assist with managing company staff and related personnel.
  • Assist with managing on going projects.
  • Other and related tasks as directed by the Project Manager/Senior Project Manager.

Estimated Rate of Pay:

$83,000 - $108,000

This position is exempt; the range above reflects annual salary.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:
