RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a leading produce wholesaler/distributor based in Bronx, NY is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team.Summary:The Accounting Manager is responsible for planning and directing the accounting operations of the company. In this role, you will manage, coach, and develop a team of Accountants, Specialists, and Office Assistants.Key Responsibilities include:- Accounting Manager will maintain a documented system of accounting
- Overseeing production of periodic financial
- Reporting and presenting financial statements to the company leaders
- As an Accounting Manager, you will develop and lead a major, company-wide financial process to increase accuracy and accountability for all involved
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting Management Role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.
- Proficient in Business Intelligence Reporting
- Proficient in Sage Software
- Proficient in Produce Pro (or any financial tracking, sales, and inventory systems implemented by the company) preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
