Basic Job Functions:
Cuts structural shapes, including webs and plates out of sheet steel on a wet plasma table. Stacks and bundles various width steel strips for future use.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for Visa sponsorship now and in the future(Nucor will not sponsor the need for a Visa now or in the future)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industrial powered equipment experience.
- Overhead crane operational experience.
- Extended education in a technical or engineering field.
- Welding and/or fitting experience
