The Nutrition & Food Service staff is responsible for performing duties in a variety of areas which may include one of the following:

Main Kitchen

• Cook - Prepares high quality food for patients, visitors, and team members. Responsible for following strict sanitation rules and Health Dept requirements..

Patient Services

• Patient Meal Service Liaison - Responsible for the final preparation and delivery to patients in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.
• Nutrition Food Service Assistant - Responsible for performing duties in a variety of areas which may include all or one of the following: Retail - serving, prepping, cleaning, restocking, cashiering, while also demonstrating great customer service skills.

Utility

• Kitchen Sanitation & Cleaning Support - Primary duties for the utility area ae: floor care, cart transportation, trash removal, dishwashing and pot washing.

Bistro

• Server - Primary function will include serving, cashiering, hosting, Barista and pre-busing all while satisfying the needs of guests at Tower & Church Bistro.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent preferred

Required Minimum Experience: Hospital and/or Retail food service experience and customer service experience highly preferred.

Required Minimum Skills: Must exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills required to work well with others. Must be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of modified diets. Candidates must also possess adequate phone skills for interacting with our customers (internal and external) and perform duties in a very busy environment. Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both written and orally. Must be able to maintain a positive attitude in all customer/patient interactions.
