Please Note: the Shift for this Driver Position is Monday thru Friday, Noon-8PM with some flexibility till 10PM or option of a split shift. Training hours are 9AM-5PM.

This role is the face of Zimmer Biomet.

The Courier will be working under the direction of the Operations Manager and Surgery Coordinator. Key responsibilities include the delivery and pickup of orthopedic medical device implants, robotics and instrumentations to and from hospitals, medical facilities, surgery centers within a defined geographic area. Potential vehicle maintenance as needed, occasional on call rotation assignments relating to any after-hour emergencies, and when you\'re done on the road we ask for inventory and miscellaneous assistance in the warehouse. Professional communication skills are important, close attention to detail is also important, and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driver's abstract are required.

Dress to be on the move for loading and unloading trucks and vehicles, running in and out of medical facilities, up and down stairways, etc., with a Zimmer Biomet polo and casual other attire.

• Preparation, transport/delivery and pickup of implants and instrumentation to hospitals and medical facilities; obtain signature from customer to document proof of delivery.
• Maintain company vehicle assigned including alert to supervisor of repairs and servicing needs.
• Prepare daily drivers log to document vehicle safety inspection, track mileage, expenses and pickups and deliveries.
• Must be able to perform the physicality of this position, lifting up to 50#, pulling a dolly through hospital halls, moving delivery items to & from the van, etc.
• On a monthly basis, reconcile purchases and process receipts utilizing Procurement card.
• Must be team oriented.
• During slow time or downtown, must be willing to assist with warehouse and inventory as needed by helping teammates.
• Must be excellent at multi-tasking and working under pressure, and high stress at times to meet deadlines.
• Willing to participate in our on-call weekends as needed.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
• Organizational and time management skills are essential
• Demonstrated knowledge to identify Zimmer Biomet products by major product groupings and familiarity with product lines of other division.
• Must maintain professional and courteous demeanor with internal and external customers.

• High School Diploma, equivalent G.E.D, or equivalent experience
• Valid driver's license
• Acceptable driving record
• Vendor Credentialing possibly required
• Participation in an on-call schedule rotation as needed.
