Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

Cradlepoint is actively seeking an inspiring hands-on Vice President of Product Management for the NetCloud SaaS product team to define the vision for the next generation of our Cloud based management platform. You will own the full product life cycle from discovery to delivery to renewal. You will manage and coach a team of product managers and partner with teams across Cradlepoint to deliver on your product strategy and drive transformational customer growth. You will help oversee the expansion of NetCloud globally, into new adjacent markets, and into new product categories. Additionally, you will lead the evolution of the NetCloud platform to incorporate AI/ML for automation of tasks on behalf of our users. This position can be located at our headquarters in Boise, Idaho, Cradlepoint's Silicon Valley office, or a remote location within the US.

What Will You Do?

  • Lead a world-class class Product team by recruiting, coaching, and retaining great product managers and product owners, managing ongoing performance, and facilitating their career growth.
  • Work with the executive team to assess the current product offering and set the vision, strategy, and execution plan for NetCloud over the next three (3+) years with metrics to measure success.
  • Understand the current users and the problems Cradlepoint can uniquely solve with the next generation of capabilities for managing networks through an intuitive and easy to use experience.
  • Derive customer intelligence from the platform from usage metrics and customer feedback to influence improvements and valuable additions to the service throughout the user journey.
  • Apply AI/Ops methodology for platform automation with associated value confirmation for the user.
  • Work with Engineering on ROI analysis of further SaaS platform investment to drive down operational costs while improving application performance, security, and user experience.
  • Keep a constant eye on the competition and related industries to understand trends and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Reporting into the SVP Product Management, you will serve as a key member of the Product Management leadership team providing insights to the overall product roadmap.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across product, marketing, sales, compliance, legal, partnerships and finance to direct planning and execution across the full product lifecycle.
  • Ask the hard questions, be able to determine what not build, and explain why in terms that stakeholders understand based on analysis, data, and business objectives.
  • Establish clear expectations and achievement milestones for your team while providing input to Executive Staff on strategic objectives to ensure the Company's profitability and success.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
  • Ten (10+) years of relevant product management and team leadership experience preferably in B2B SaaS technology products and/or related to Enterprise networking/security
  • Five (5+) years of working in an Agile, continuous delivery model for a SaaS product offering with proven methodology and best practices
  • Experience in applying user-centric design principles to develop software
  • Proven track record of launching software applications at targeted markets globally
  • Passion for recruiting, coaching, and engaging great product management talent and investing in the product management community
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior leaders and stakeholders to share progress, recognition, and drive change
  • Data-backed synthesis of customer behavior and product line performance; Able to communicate the customer narrative to influence others to make customer-backed decisions and take fast action
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: be innovative and willing and able to challenge the status quo, as well as be a seasoned risk taker who makes data-driven decisions
  • Ability to travel up to 20% (post pandemic) if not located in Boise
