Growth and diversification of JS Held's Environmental Health and Safety practice continues at a quick pace, producing a fun and dynamic team of professionals that love what they do. As part of our continued growth and innovation, we are looking for an experienced leader to join our global team as a Merger & Acquisition (M&A) / Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) expert.

We are looking for an accomplished professional with a strong technical foundation and strong network of client relationships in the M&A / ESG (financial services) sector. This individual will serve as our global M&A service line leader - driving continued growth through selling and delivering best in class services, developing a highly engaged team and next generation of leaders, and advancing JS Held's position and reputation for M&A / ESG services.

This is a VP/SVP level position, reporting to the EVP of EH&S.

Position Outline

• Lead JS Held's M&A / ESG service line - driving growth across the firm's accounts and broad practice areas:
• Develop M&A / ESG strategy and direction for JS Held, through leadership and active engagement in the financial market, including speaking events and other avenues of thought leadership
• Support and influence M&A team development and growth, including strategic hiring and/or acquisition to further grow and advance JS Held's M&A service line
• Conduct ESG program development and evaluation for a growing client base
• Perform due diligence for Mergers & Acquisitions and transaction financing
• Create and perform post-merger integration programs
• Achieve service line financial goals and meet client expectations, through effective project management and quality control for deliverables

Position Criteria

• Advanced degree in science, engineering, or other relevant discipline
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in M&A
• Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically, analyze and synthesize diverse environmentally related data and information
• Ability to design, develop and lead diverse teams managing multiple projects / programs simultaneously
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently, articulate issues and recommend solutions
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
• Good team player who can work as a member of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team, motivate and lead group efforts and network effectively across boundaries
