GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Our Tremco CPG Mfg Corp. located in Corsicana Texas, is seeking a motivated, team-oriented Intern to provide project and technical support for our Corsicana site R&D Department.

This nine (9) week Summer 2023 Internship is an on-site, full-time position intended for college students in a Chemical or R&D Engineering Bachelor's degree program.

You will be provided with training and mentorship for a variety of aspects within our plant and will have the opportunity to work on high-value projects. This internship will help you to identify areas of high interest as they relate to our industry. Main Project and Responsibilities:

• This intern is responsible for building an FTIR spectral library of TREMCO raw materials and products.
• Also, will be responsible for building a LCMS library of our raw materials/products. This will enable the lab to qualify and troubleshoot raw materials and products Corsicana production is engaged in.
• Intern will have some additional organic synthetic responsibilities in connection with the manufacture of alkyd resins, grindings aids, and epoxy diluents.
