Objective of Position:

The TM Sales Officer is responsible for enabling Commercial and Retail Bankers to identify, propose and effectively close treasury management product opportunities with existing and prospective business customers.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Leads and develops the treasury management sales strategy to increase market penetration and maximize revenue. Works closely with sales teams to provide banking solutions to customers and prospects.
  • Maintains industry knowledge of treasury management solutions and pricing to keep products current and competitive.
  • Works with Treasury Management, Sales Enablement to evaluate and implement new products as necessary
  • Coordinates and develops call lists of new and existing customers for Treasury Management sales opportunities
  • Coordinates with Treasury, Treasury Management Operations, and Implementations the onboarding of won prospects and follow through for high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develops and recommends marketing objectives, departmental goals, including sales volume and profit
  • Monitor customer usage to identify and remediate customer attrition, maximize fee income, and maintain sound risk management practices.
  • Grow fee income revenue from cash management products, including a review of account analysis activity and identification of fee income opportunities.
  • Support the sales process through discussions with Commercial and Retail Bankers, product demonstrations and consulting on effective strategies.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • 5+ years of Treasury and Treasury Management experience
  • Thorough knowledge of treasury management products/services
  • Technological competencies to understand, operate and explain the bank’s products, operating systems, and support programs
  • Innovative, displays initiative, is self-motivated and able to adjust quickly to changing business landscapes
  • Detail oriented and organized with strong time management skills
  • Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment and make decisions in a consistent manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office Suite


PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices.
