Job Description

Eurofins Medical Device Testing is seeking a Technical Liaisonto support its Package Testing business. This subject matter expert role will support the North American sales act as a liaison between existing medical device clients, our sales team, and our medical device engineering team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Achieve/exceed annual targets for package testing market by cultivating development of existing accounts and support of prospecting for new accounts in the package testing market
  • Identify and secure sales opportunities through sales visits, phone calls, presentations, and conferences
  • Work effectively across the organization to advance opportunities
  • Generate new business consistent with our market focus, operational capabilities, and laboratory capacity
  • Contribute to the package testing market strategy and sales plan
  • Use experience to mentor colleagues in business development
  • Assist clients in defining a scope of services to meet package testing needs

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:
  • In depth understanding of the medical device and packaging testing requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort in client-facing interactions
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, applied sciences, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
  • At least 3-5 years package testing experience required

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. This opportunity does allow for a hybrid work schedule but on-site time will be required. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
