Hiring rate of position: $16.018+ $3/hour differential for hours worked!

Location: Central Nebraska Veterans' Home, 4510 E. 56th St., Kearney, NE 68847

Schedule: 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Friday some weekends when necessary
Examples of Work
Processes applications and sets up interviews for employment.
Maintain staff and termination information for department reference.
Create data gathering tools, organize data and compile understandable reports for leadership. Daily and monthly reporting.
Kronos timekeeping, corrections, leave requests, etc.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/ or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

PREFERRED: Experience with Kronos payroll, Accutech, versus badges, Responder 5 and Ascom phones.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
When at FULL performance of the position, this individual would have the:

Knowledge of: agency policies, rules, and regulations, and procedures pertinent to licensure and registry; legislation and policies affecting the mission and programs of the agency licensure authority; develops forms, reports and documents related to licensure, certification, and registration issuance, reinstatement, revocation, and renewal; the board procedures and activities; computer operations.

Skills: computers and related applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and other); data entry, proper telephone usage and etiquette; verbal and written communication skills;

Ability to: work effectively with public and co-workers; understand and apply Nebraska laws relative to licensing, certification, and registration; organize application materials; prepare and write correspondence; and formulate decisions; develop and implement procedures for processing licensing applications and for maintaining records for those activities; coordinate activities relating to boards and licensing activities, and prepare responses to inspection activities.
