Description
SAIC is seeking a qualified Training Analyst to support the US Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation (AFAMS) program.
AFAMS is the premier agency responsible for implementation, integration, and development of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and training and analysis standards that support the US Air Force (USAF), Department of Defense (DoD), and mission partners requiring these capabilities to support the Warfighter in full-spectrum operations. As the lead agent for M&S within the USAF, AFAMS gathers requirements, seeks out potential solutions, and integrates legacy and emerging M&S solutions across the USAF and the DoD. The USAF has an M&S initiative that focuses on providing simulation and synthetic training as the critical capability to augment live training, act as an enabler for critical decision-making, and enhance human performance.
The primary responsibly of this position is to support Training System Requirements Analysis, working within an integrated team. The work location is Orlando, FL; telework options are available.
The Training Analyst will:
- Use survey data to select appropriate instructional media based on desired training objectives
- Validate media for compatibility with other systems
- Collaborate with instructional systems developers to analyze instructional strategy alternatives
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate instructional alternatives
- Support the development of training system implementation plans
- Assist in the sequencing of training assets
Qualifications
The following skills are required:
- Prior experience conducting training analysis and preparing associated documents/reports
- Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years of related experience, PhD and 10 years or relevant experience in lieu of degree..
- Candidates must possess a Secret scurity clearance.

Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
