General Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of the Spa department to include the proper oversight of the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of the Spa equipment and other assigned areas. Ensures all equipment is well-maintained and safe. Supervise, train and manage all Spa staff.

Qualifications (Essential):

• High school graduate or equivalent vocational training.

• Minimum of two years' experience in a large facility.

• Solid understanding of Spa operations.

• Knowledge of all mechanical equipment critical to the operation of the Spa.

• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guest, management, and co-workers to their understanding.

• Ability to provide legible written communication. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

• Ability to accurately compute mathematical calculations and use required measurement tools.

• Ability to prepare budgets and ensure cost controls.

• Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

• Ability to interpret manufacturer's literature for installation, preparation, use and upkeep of various materials and products used throughout the Spa.

Qualifications (Desired):

• College degree in business, hospitality management, and/or certification.

• Previous supervisory experience.

• Previous guest relations and/or training.
