What you need to know about the role-
You will design and develop various robust and highly scalable test automation framework and test cases for front end, backend, and mobile applications. Collaborate with other cross-functional PD teams, product teams and business stakeholders across various PayPal teams.

You will contribute to playing a key role in instilling the quality first and quality ownership mindset and help improve quality and automation across various products. You will also help with:

• Demonstrating a customer-centric mindset as part of day-day work.
  
• Ensure that the design and implementation adhere to defined specs and processes.
  
• Own end-to-end quality of deliverables during all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  
• Understand technical designs by working within PayPal's cross-functional technology team.
  

Your day to day

• You will provide technical direction and mentor one or more QEs in team
  
• You will provide coding and framework architecture feedback to other QE team members
  
• You will develop tools and scripts to increase efficiency of testing software
  
• Proactivelyescalate key quality issues
  
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and discoveries
  
• Champion functional testing, and other Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes leading up to superior quality products.
  

What you need to bring -

• Bachelors or Masters in CS or related degrees.
  
• 3 to 7+ years of hands-on experience in Software development in test automation
  
• Experience in Web/Mobile automation using Webdriver.io, Cypress or Selenium
  
• 5 years of Experience in API-level automation using Java, JavaScript, or Python
  
• 5 years of Experience in web and mobile application testing.
  
• Experience in web testing tools including Sauclabs, BrowserStack etc
  
• Knowledge of mobile (Android, iOS, Windows) test tools and technologies.
  
• Knowledge of web services standards and related technologies including SOAP, and REST
  
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
  
• Scrum/Agile development methodology a plus.
  

Technologies: Proficiency in Java, Cucumber (Behavior-Driven Development), Gherkin, Cypress/ Webdriver.io/ Selenium /Appium /TestNG/ Typescript/ JavaScript, Angular, Docker, Jenkins, Jira, Github
