Senior SSIS Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a Sr. SSIS Engineer in San Diego, CA.Summary:As part of the Product Development team, the Senior SSIS Developer will build and support SSIS solutions for business-critical applications. The team is consistently customizing applications and innovating approaches to suit the ever-changing needs of the employees, consumers, and industry. This is a growing and innovative team that supports strategic initiatives that directly impacts the bottom line for our business.Responsibilities:

• Product development (Development Artifacts / Programming / Unit test / Bug Fixes / Demo / Deployment etc.) - 70%
• Operation (Troubleshooting / Operation ticket updates / Monitoring / Optimization) - 20%
• Other Enterprise projects and support - 10%

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of SSIS and SQL programing experience
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure using AWS and/or Azure
• Database knowledge - RDBMS like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
• AWS ETL tools (Glue, Athena, RedShift etc.)
• Agile (Scrum) project management methodology and Test-Driven Development
• Hands on 1-click deployment - CI/CD (continuous integration, continuous delivery/deployment)
• Good Communication Skills

Preferred:

• C# and Java are a plus
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure using AWS and/or Azure
