Essential Functions:

  • Lead planning and implementation of IT outsourcing transitions or IT project from initiation to completion.
  • Create deliverables-based project plan with related milestones from a Statement of Work (SOW) scope to ensure accurate project tracking and reporting and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Prepare and lead periodic Executive Steering Committee project reviews to ensure executive and key stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all projects meet contractual obligations, quality, and company standards.
  • Define client and internal resource requirements and manage all project resources to successful project completion.
  • Utilize existing Bell Techlogix available project collateral but must have the ability to enhance and or create new collateral when required.
  • Manage any scope changes which may affect project budget, schedule and/or resource allocation.
  • Plan, schedule, communicate and manage to project timelines.
  • Develop and manage the risk mitigation plan including managing key assumptions.
  • Develop and manage the project communications plan.
  • Track project deliverables and milestones using Microsoft (MS) Project and Project Server tools.
  • Lead both internal and client project staff to a successful project completion.
  • Monitor and regularly report on progress of the project, risks, resource constraints, scope changes, and budget variations to project sponsor and stakeholders and escalate project variances.
  • Schedule and lead regular project team meetings.
  • Manage, direct, and develop performance of employees.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
  • Degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent technical and business experience.
  • 10-15 years of leadership experience in delivering information technology services and solutions
  • Experience in management of project P&L, risks, assumptions, and delivering on-time and on budget projects that meet defined service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Tools Expertise: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Visio) and ServiceNow
  • ITIL Certification preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.

Abilities and Skills:
  • Excellent customer service, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues at one time with exceptional follow through.
  • Ability to manage and motivate non-dedicated resources in a matrix reporting relationship.
  • Proven team player with outstanding interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with all levels of executive, mid-level management, staff, clients, and vendors.
