RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a publicly traded healthcare company in Rutherford, NJ is seeking a Senior Manager - M&A. The role will be hybrid (2 days a week in the office). This role will manage M&A activities for several growing businesses. The role would report to the Senior Director of M&A. This company is commutable by mass transit from NYC.Summary:The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading various aspects of the M&A process including strategic assessments, market landscape analyses, generation of business & financial analysis for Investment Committee approval, managing diligence, negotiations, and related activities.Duties:- Senior Manager will partner with VP/GMs to identify, research, and monitor companies of strategic value to the firm's growth plans
- Work with Senior Director of M&A, internal business experts, and external partners to evaluate prospective targets
- Prepare financial analyses and valuation models to screen and evaluate acquisition opportunities
- Develop acquisition business cases for review by and discussion with our Investment Committee
- As a Senior Manager, you will manage the due diligence on live transactions including organizing and coordinating deal team due diligence activities; Has direct interaction with Bankers and Sellers through the deal execution process
- Work in partnership with cross-functional teams across the organization on due diligence and integration planning
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; Proficiency in financial modeling is required
- 3-8 years of related industry, strategy, consulting, banking, and/or corporate M&A experience
- Experience working in a scientific industry and/or a clear understanding of the Oncology and Genomics space
- Experience building financial models and analyzing financial statements
- History of collaborating across multiple functions and leading large projects, ability to think strategically but act tactically
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Internet/Web applications
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
