The Sr Director - Brand Strategy, DDR (DNA Damage Response), is accountable for all LYNPARZA indications in the US and leads a team of marketers and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute a robust commercial strategy for DDR, a key medicine in the AstraZeneca oncology portfolio. You will work for the brand and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders including colleagues from the Global, Sales, Medical, Diagnostics, Commercial Operations, Managed Markets, and Corporate Affairs. You will also work closely with Merck, our Alliance partner for Lynparza to co-develop strategy and execution plans. Additionally, you will be a key member of the DDR franchise leadership team and play an important role in shaping the overall strategy and culture of the franchise.

Additionally, the Sr Director - Brand Strategy, DDR will oversee the development of overarching HCP and consumer marketing strategies and tactics, including the creation of brand strategy plans, launch plans, and competitive readiness plans. Monitor and diagnose brand performance and lead business updates to senior leadership. Lead partnership efforts to define lifecycle priorities, inform US labeling recommendations and share learnings across markets. Lead quarterly and annual US forecasting work for DDR, in conjunction with the Insights and Finance teams; develop quarterly performance updates in preparation for Earnings releases. Develop and deliver key brand presentations to senior leadership and to the DDR field organization. Manage, coach, and develop a team of pharmaceutical marketing professionals.

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • 7 years of pharmaceutical or related experience in oncology marketing (US oncology pharmaceutical marketing experience strongly preferred)
  • People leadership experience
  • Exhibit high capability at working collaboratively, thinking strategically
  • Comprehensive understanding of drug development and commercialization process
  • Proven competency in marketing, both HCP, and Consumer

Preferred:
  • MBA
  • Deep experience in US pharmaceutical marketing in Oncology
  • Experience leading an Oncology Marketing Team
  • Customer-facing Oncology Experience
