Security Compliance Specialist

The Security and Compliance Specialist is a role that will serve as a point of contact for information security expertise for the Risk Government Business Unit of LexisNexis.

This position will be responsible for execution and oversight of compliance, audit and regulatory assessments working directly with Federal and State/Local Government agencies. The Security and Compliance Specialist will effectively communicate and work with Sales Representatives, and Senior Leaders, and possesses proven experience in coordinating security assessments (FedRAMP, A&A) and Third-Party Risk audits.

The Security Compliance Specialist should have the familiarity of working with government agencies.

They will serve as a point of contact for clients and develop trust-based relationships with client IT and other business personnel.

This position assists business partners within the InfoSec Compliance Team with developing, and implementing information security artifacts/documentation, assessing compliance with existing policies, and overall security compliance requirements for Government customers.

The incumbent must be knowledgeable of all security pillars Cybersecurity.

Proficiency in developing and championing innovative ideas is mission critical.

Success in this role requires a good understanding of information security best practices, ability to understand and communicate risk and security controls, good organization skills, good communication and writing skills.
