ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Domains and Applications
- SAP
Primary work will be in the FICO area which will include finance, manufacturing costing, fixed assets, investment management (capital projects). Secondary areas of significant concern involve applications which interface with finance or which finance has significant responsibilities which are Vertex, Vistex, Paymetric, Autobank and FSCM. Work inside of SAP includes specifying configuration of the various components and debugging of failed transactions to assist IS in creating solutions.

Third Party tax application integrated into SAP.
- Vistex
Commissions and processing of certain product rebates
- Paymetric
Credit Card Processing
- Autobank
Automated processing of Cash Receipts
- FSCM
Primarily use in managing customer credit processes and debit management.
- DB2 SQL / Power BI / Excel / SAP query / SAP Report Writer / SAP Report Painter / SAP ABAP
Work with internal customers to address ad hoc or permanent reporting needs.
- SAP Business Warehouse
SAP BW is an underutilized resource which needs some definition and development of user reports. This role would work to develop this resource and further integrate in the business.
- Testing
Assist with both arranging testing and completing some testing as part of User Acceptance Testing as part of a single solution or even projects.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
General knowledge of Finance Operations in the areas of general accounting / accounts receivable / accounts payable / costing; Advanced Knowledge of Desktop applications such as Excel, Power Point, Word; Experience working in SAP, FI/CO modules; Experience with SAP Report Writer or Report Painter a plus; Knowledge of SAP FI/CO configuration or ABAP Programming a plus; SQL Query Development a plus; Experience in Data Warehouse Report Writing; Ability to interact with business users to assist in process improvement; Ability to interact with business users to resolve SAP issues; Ability to interact with business users to assist in custom program specifications in SAP; Knowledge of MS Power Query and Power BI a plus. Knowledge of Vistex for commissions and Vertex for tax is a plus.
