RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Riversand Data Analyst in New Britain, CT.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Data Analyst - IT, Product information management serve as the primary developer for the PIM tool (Riversand)
  • Design and define the technical strategy for effectively supporting and continually improving application frameworks and interfaces
  • As a Riversand Data Analyst, you will maintain a boarder perspective by identifying and evaluating opportunities to enhance applications across various domains/platforms
  • Manages critical support activities/escalations, often including multiple internal and vendor support teams and often with visibility to senior management
  • Collaborate with infrastructure partners to ensure that application frameworks and interfaces are structured and monitored to enable robust, proactive support capabilities


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 5 - 7 years of related hands-on work experience or comparable work experience
  • Strong understanding of Riversand PIM, Object Oriented design and programming, data modeling, and entity-relationship diagrams
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns within Riversand PIM software and middleware technologies
  • Must be a strategic thinker who understands IT best practices and be capable of developing and implementing a strategic plan that advances the team in line with organizational goals
  • Must be able to execute tactically and opportunistically to achieve strategic goals
  • Knowledgeable in normalized database concepts and proficient in data integration mapping, development, and support
  • Adept in agile methodologies and capable of applying DevOps and increasingly DataOps principles to data pipelines to improve the communication, integration, reuse, and automation of data flows between data managers and consumers across an organization
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Hands on experience with Python and SQL
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Required to be highly creative and collaborative; An ideal candidate would be expected to collaborate with the business, and IT teams to define the business problem, refine the requirements, and design and develop data deliverables accordingly
  • Must have proven ability to support multiple projects on an aggressive timeline
  • Must have a can-do attitude and be able to work independently
  • Strong time management skills
